Nigerians Show how Big their Hearts are as they Help to Save People with Acute Illness.


In February, a young undergraduate, Esther Oteri was shot in the eye the night before her matriculation ceremony in Delta State Polythenic. The injury got infected and transplant was the only way for her not to go blind for the rest of her life. A concerned Nigerian and human activist took to his Facebook page to cry out for help.  And many responded by donating towards the recovery of the young lady’s health. Some went as far as going to Delta State Teaching Hospital to visit her. 
Also, a woman was found with a little child with acute illness begging in Lagos by another kind hearted Nigerian, Oluwagbemi Temitope Damilola. He took to social media to express the need to help save the child’s life and put an end to his pain.

A man died after falling from a 53 story building at a construction site on Thursday. He was on his second day of work when he fell striking a vehicle and prompting an evacuation of the Los Angeles Wilshire Grand construction site.

Rivers Killings: APC Accuses Gov. Wike of Murdering Chika, an Avowed APC Member and others.

It is very important not to point accusing fingers when one has no concrete proof. However, this is not to be so when it comes to politics in this nation, Nigeria. Some members of the All Progressive Congress, APC are pointing accusing fingers at Rivers State Governor, Wike Nyesom for the assassination of their strong member, Mr Chika in ward 11 Ozuaha, Ikwere Local Government area of Rivers State, who was killed yesterday by unknown gunmen in police uniform in his home town. May his soul Rest in Peace.

Shooting and Car Bomb Left a Trail of Several Dead People in Somali.

 
Many people were killed or injured, when gunmen opened fire and denoted a bomb on Saturday on one of the busy road in Somali.

Police official, Ahmed Abdiweli told AFP. "There was a drive-by shooting attack... then a car loaded with explosives was detonated after police reinforcements arrived."

Nigerian Military Commutes Death Penalty of 66 Soldiers to Jail terms.

PREMIUM TIMES: The death sentences by firing squad passed on 66 soldiers in January and March 2015 by separate General Court Martials have been commuted to 10 years imprisonment each, the spokesperson for the Nigerian Army, Sani Usman, has said.

Mother of an Indian Girl that was Gang-rape says no Shame in Exposing Daughter.

The mother of a student who died after being gang-raped publicly named her daughter for the first time Wednesday, in a bid to end the stigma facing sex attack victims in India.

The 23-year-old student died after being brutally assaulted on a bus in New Delhi in 2012, triggering global outrage and protests in India over the country's high levels of violence against women.

Rape victims are normally shunned and vilified in deeply patriarchal India and they cannot be named under national law in a bid to protect them.

Plane Landing in Nashville Rolls off Runway into a Ditch, injuring 8.

A Southwest Airlines plane swerved into a ditch after rolling  off the runway on Tuesday at the Nashville, Tenn., airport according to witnesses and officials said.

Eight people on board the plane suffered minor injuries and are presently receiving treatment in a hospital. Nashville Fire Department spokesman Brian Haas revealed to the Daily News.

A statement released by  airline said; there were 133 passengers and five crew aboard.

18 Killed and Many Injured in Fresh Bomb Blast in Borno.


The death of 14 people and 37 others left injured has been confirmed by the Borno State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Aderemi Opadokun. They were killed when suspected two Boko-Haram Suicide bombers detonated their strapped Improvised Explosive Device (IED) where faithful muslims where conducting their hourly prayer in a Mosque in Gumsuri village outskirts of Maiduguri.

The Escalating Violence between Palestinian and Israelis Force.

The ongoing violence between Palestinian and Israelis forces keeps escalating. And this has led to another clash for the third time today, in front of West Bank in Bethlehem in less than eight days. And the death of a 20 years old Palestinian man, when the Israeli troop shot at the protesters.

The religious tomb, Joseph's Tomb was also set on fire over the night. However the Palestine force helped in putting out the fire by breaking through a group. Joseph's Tomb is the West Bank City of  Nebulas. An area which is under the juridiction of Palestine. The tomb happened to be highly reverenced by the Jews and a good source of attraction to tourist.

Controversial Story of the Dead Body Found in an Accident Along Benin-Sapele Express Road.

 
The dead body of a man, popularly called Mr Okirhieaghaigho was removed from his car in Mosogar along Benin-Sapele express road. It is alleged he got involved in an accident on his way to the next community, Oghara around 10:00pm on Tuesday, 13th October2015. Unfortunately none noticed his car in the bush where he somersaulted and got submerged in water until the early hours of the evening the next day.

On Tuesday, 13th October, I made a publication of an ongoing robbery of two banks in Festac town, Lagos. Which ensued into a gun battle with the police and the robbers. This led to a woman and her daughter been killed by flying bullets.
