'Stop Blackmailing Me or Face the Wrath of the Law' - DESOPADEC MD, Chief Williams Makinde.

The Delta State Oil Producing Area Development Commission, managing director; Chief Williams Makinde has handed out the threat and warning in an interview made available to Comr Harry Odafe  stating that any false report made on the PRINT MEDIA, SOCIAL MEDIA and ELECTRONIC MEDIA against DESOPADEC or against him, would not be taken lightly as he would ensure the person or organisation is taken to court to face the wrath of the law because he has tolerated enough.
"I have taken enough of this rubbish, we don’t have a budget, we have not submitted any budget to the House of Assembly neither have I made any contact with the House of Assembly on bribe or whatever greasing of palm, so I am surprised at what they are talking about. How can somebody sit in his office or wherever he is and come up with such annoying lies..It beats my imagination how petty people can be."

Chief Williams Makinde noted, saying the publication is false, malicious and the relevant authorities are investigating the said publication.

The DESOPADEC Boss argued that for an electronic media like Trend FM to have picked up stories without cross Examining the facts before broadcasting is very annoying and worrisome, stressing that
what happened had revealed that 90% of information Trend FM broadcast in their news are false.

He charged Deltans to disregard any false information being dished out by the enemies of the Commission.
