Nigeria Senate President Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki was born on December 19th,1962.His father was one time Senate Leader of National Assembly of federal republic of Nigeria (1979-1983).
Saraki attended Corona primary school from 1966-1972 for his primary Education and proceeded to King's college, lagos from 1973-1978 where he obtained his West Africa examination certificate (WAEC).He studied at the London Hospital Medical College of the university of London from 1982 to 1987 where he obtained M.B.B.S (London).
Professionally,8th Nigeria Senate President is a Medical Doctor and of course A great politician in kwara state and Nigeria.He worked as Executive Director at Societe General (Nig) Limited from 1990 to 2000.He worked for Federal Government of Federal Republic of Nigeria under the Leadership of former President of Nigeria (General Olusegun Obasanjo) as Special Assistant to President on Budget 2000 to 2001.
Furthermore, Saraki contested for the Governor of Kwara state under political party People's Democratic Party (PDP) in 2003 where he won the incumbent Governor of the state by then Late Alhaji Muhammed Lawal of All People's Party (APP) while Saraki recontested for the second term in office under the same political party PDP and won which make him break the record of being the first two time Governor of Kwara state.
In,2011 after his two term in office as Executive Governor of Kwara state.Saraki contested for Seat of Senator represent kwara central at Nigeria National Assembly of Red Chamber and won.Despite internal (within his political party numerous antagonist and external one) Saraki survived and re-elected as Senate represent Kwara central and of Course won the position of 8th Senate President of National Assembly unopposed.
Saraki is the most survival of political enemies in the history of politics in kwara and Nigeria at large.
In 2003,political Leader of Kwara and North Central was framed with Societe General Bank which was used as political tact by his political enemies in other to mislead people of Kwara state not to vote for him but with strong political dynastic built by his late father the first political leader of Kwara and wari of Ilorin(Dr Abubakar Olushola Saraki),Dr Bukola Saraki won the 2003 Governorship election in kwara state. On the same vain,in 2007 Trade bank was used by his political enemies in kwara state but at last the kwara political Leader and Son of Mutariu Lagbaji won the 2007 governorship election and make him become first second term Governor in kwara state.In 2011, internal antagonist was more serious than external as Bukola Saraki was framed by internal political enemies where by his blood sister contested for Governorship election in the state under another political party Alliance Congress Political Party (ACPN) Sen.Rukayat Gbemishola Saraki who was strongly back by Dr Olushola Saraki while Dr Bukola Saraki has his own candidate under People Democratic party (PDP),Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed while Saraki succeeded this serious challenges during 2011 election internally and of course externally governorship candidate of Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) Mr Dele Belgore also in many way challenge Saraki dynastic external.
2015 would continues to be political great challenge to Dr Saraki as many political immatures who built by Late Olushola Saraki were made great challenge to Senate President with back of Presidency and federal mighty but with Almighty God in his side Saraki defeated them all.Also,current Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) which Saraki is currently facing was a political motivation in other to remove Saraki as Senate President while many fake media houses were empowering by Saraki enemies within his political party All Progressive Party (APC).Infact,He is a great destiny man,he faced many challenges since he become President and chairman of 8th Senate but God in his side always won.
However, Saraki as a blessed to kwara and Nigeria at large during his tenure as Executive Governor of Kwara state during his time Saraki gave kwara standard state university, overhead bridge, Aviation college,vocational center Ajase-ipo, Ilorin Harmony Diagnostic Center Asa Dam,Ilorin and many more achievement of Saraki tenure as two time Governor of Kwara state.
In the last month of October, Saraki paid school fees of two Law students to Nigeria Law #500,000 for each candidates and presently Saraki bought 500 utme forms for kwara central candidates.
In submission, Saraki as great pillar of Kwara politics who following the legacy lain by his father (Dr Abubakar Olushola Saraki).He is currently doing all good things Baba done during his own time but I personally use this media and channel to appeal to Nigeria Senate President to do more and i pray for more effort to your elbow.
