CCT Postponed Senate President Bukola Saraki’s Corruption Trial as his Lawyers Challenge Jurisdiction of Tribunal.
The Senate President, Bukola Saraki trial which was scheduled to hold today at the Code of Conduct Tribunal has been postponed by one week. This twist of turn was as a result of the submission of an application to the CCT by his lawyers under the leadership of Kanu Agabi.

Nigerian Air Force Dismissed Officer over Battering and Stripping Naked of a Nurse - Report.
Nigerian Air Force Officer, Mr Ovie Doghro has been dismissed from the Nigerian Army over gross mis-conduct. The said officer on the 5th of January 2016 , battered and stripped naked a nurse(Name with-held) over the death of his father at Delta State University Teaching Hospital Oghara. The incident occurred at the male ward of the hospital, where the nurse was attending to a patient but Mr Ovie Doghro insisted she attends to his father. However, before she could get to him, his father died.

The Supreme Court in Abuja today upheld the judgement of the Appeal in favour of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of the People Democratice Party as the winner of the Delta State April 11, 2015 governorship election.

Court of Appeal President Sacks Panel of Judges over Corruption in Delta Case, Appoints New Judges
The five man panel in charge of the April 11, 2015
Delta State governorship election at the Court of Appeal in Benin city has been sacked and new panel sets to replaced them by President of the Court of Appeal, Justice Zainab Bulkachuwa.
Justice Zainab stated the sack was based on allegation laid against the judges of compromising, corrupting and abusing their office.

The Children of British Pensioner Sentenced to 350 Lashes by Saudi Arabia Seeks Help from PM.
The children of a British man have called on David Cameron to intervene to save their father from being subjected to 350 lashes in Saudi Arabia. Karl Andree, 74, faces being publicly flogged as part of a punishment imposed after bottles of homemade wine were reportedly found last year in his car by Saudi police enforcing strict laws prohibiting alcohol.
