News Update: Governor Wike Disagrees with Appeal Court Judgement, heads to Supreme Court.

Today, Appeal court upheld the ruling of the gubernatorial election tribunal in Rivers state.

The court said that Nyesom Wike, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in this year’s election, did not conform with the electoral act and there should be a re-run.

However, Nyesom is not about to give up easily and has decided to head to the Supreme court according to a press statement released.
