The former governor in a statement described Ibru as a statesman who spent most of his public life in the service of the common man.
Uduaghan also recalled the deceased’s giant strides as governor and senator, saying his wise counsel and patriotism will be missed by Deltans and Nigerians.
He described the death of Chief Felix Ibru as not only a great loss to
the Urhobo Nation but also to the State at large.
He prayed the Almighty God to grant repose to his soul, and give the Ibru's family, Urhobo Nation and the people of Delta State the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
