The flying Boeing 737-800 nosedived and exploded into
balls of flames when trying to land in strong winds, killing all 62
passengers.
Associated Press Reports: The flight FZ981 was scheduled
to land at 1:20 a.m. Moscow time but missed the runway.
After circling for about two hours, it went down at 3:50 a.m. local time after making a second attempt.
While the exact cause of the accident is yet to be confirmed, poor visibility and high winds are believed to be the main factors. At the time of the crash, winds were blowing at 60 mph (97 kmph).
