Wife Of Ex-Chief of Air Staff Amosu Arrested, Billions Discovered, $1million Inside Soak Away

The fight against corruption is getting very interesting. The EFCC is said to have arrested, Lara, the Wife of the immediate past Chief of Air Staff (CAS) Air Marshal Adesola Amosu (rtd) over the arms procurement scandal.

Sources revealed that Mrs. Lara Amosu was picked up by the EFCC operatives in Abuja.

"She has been in the custody of the EFCC in Lagos for the past one week. It was learnt that her lawyer has been battling without success to get her released. Mrs. Amosu's arrest followed the alleged discovery of about 3 billion in her Bank accounts.

She's allegedly holding the billions in trust for her husband.

Sources also revealed that other properties traced to the former CAS were also been held by his wife and children.

The EFCC has discovered N17.5 billions in the accounts of wives of 3 Airforce Chiefs. The monies were said to have been scattered in various bank accounts, as a way of covering up .
