All Unified schools in Los Angeles have been closed after receiving an email, which officials referred to as "credible threat" of violence involving backpacks and packages left at campuses.
The email sent to the board members of several Los Angeles Unified School, which led to closure of all Los Angeles Unified Schools on Tuesday, mentioned explosive devices, assault rifles and pistols and was traced to an IP address in Frankfurt, Germany, according to law enforcement sources.
