I have come to understand living in this world today there are people that have sealed their hearts and mind against any iota of kindness. They are ready to wreck havoc in all manners of evil in the lives of people. This is starting from the little lies against another, stealing from the masses, hiding the truth because of money, killings and not to mention the terror or the powers of darkness. And there are people who have turned a blind eye or deaf ears to all of these, inorder not to become victims themselves. Fear has gripped the heart of many and closed their mouth from say anything because of the repercussion and evil is on the wide spread.
Christians have made the situation worse by making the ‘fear of
the enemy, the beginning of wisdom instead of the fear of God.’ If you’re angry
or worried about that just take a look at the kind of titles given today’s
church programmes are mostly in this manner:
· *
Not my blood
· *
That witch must die
· *
Lord sweep the enemy.......... and you find
people trooping to this programmes seeking for miracles instead of seeking for
God.
What happened to the spread of the gospel of Christ?
Why is so much attention being given to what the enemies are
capable of doing?
How do one live in the world that many have become blinded
by fellow man ability? Is simply to live in and from the spirit. This is the
revelation I got from studying Roman 1:17 this morning. We live in a house that keeps us safe from
the harsh elements of the weather, even at that many of us prepares ourselves
in that house before coming out to suit the condition of what we will meet
outside. Take a look at everyone now; covering themselves up with clothes to
protect them from the harmattan or winter wind. So we ought to focus on
building a good spiritual home with God that keeps us safe from the ills of the
world. When you prepare yourself in the spirit you need no preparation to
survive the harsh condition of living in this world today. Yes the enemies have
powers but remember God Has made you more than a conqueror. This is as inspired by today’s rhapsody of realities
with Reverend Chris Oyakhilome. Have a fruit bearing day and week.
