Have you ever seen a foolish man prospering?
Take note; I didn’t say becoming rich but being prosperous. Because there’s a
difference between being rich and prosperous. Riches is the acquisition and
hurdling of substances while prosperity is the acquisition and spread of
substances “Proverbs 11: 24 There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty”.
Therefore, one of two things is
likely to happen to a man with riches and lacks wisdom on how to prosper; he’ll
either lose his life or lose his substances. Remember the story of the rich fool
in Luke 12:13-31 and the destruction of the stored riches by moths in Matthew
6:20. The rich man with no wisdom cannot prosper because; he sees nothing in the
spreading of his substances. However, there will be no return when there’s no
spread Proverb 11:24. For a seed to germinate there must be a spreading One has to give gap during the planting season for the
plants roots to have the necessary space to grow.
Prosperity is not centred on how
much you have accumulated but how much you’ve given. You do know this, don’t
you? And someone might ask; how do I spread when I haven’t gotten enough to
stand on my feet? It’s simple, appreciate God for the ‘what’ you’ve got. And remember
a little will become much when a little and a little is added. In essence the ‘what’
that can keep you standing today can grow to become the ‘much’ to keep you climbing up
tomorrow. Do remember not to be like the rich fool that have no wisdom on what
to do with his substances.
May the Lord ceaselessly bless our
spread in Jesus name ….. Amen
Cheers!
