If you have to kiss me, I have just
one request, be pure. This I asked for your sake and not mine. The intent in
which individuals exchange a kiss will determine the emotions it’ll evoke and
the result it’ll yield. The fact someone kissed you doesn’t mean there’s a love
lost between you two. Judas can tell the best story of that in Mark 14:45 and
worst of it in Matthew 27:3-5.
Proverbs 27:6 Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of
an enemy are deceitful. Kiss being the expression of one’s affection and
depth of love towards another as seen between friends, family and brethren; it
is important that the act be done with pure intent “1 Thessalonians 5:26 Greet
all the brethren with an holy kiss”. It is better to have friends that know not
how to be affectionate but provides solid support when the need arises than
friends that are affectionate but quick to turn their backs when mostly needed.
However, for
everyone born of God safety has been guaranteed when Judas betrayed the saviour
with a kiss. The prize of his betrayal was not the money he was paid but his death.
And the Lord
paid the price on the cross, so that; every tongue that shall rise
against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the
servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD
Isaiah 54:27.
Hence, if you have to kiss me, please do it with pure intent.
Cheers!
True
