Have you ever gotten insulted when you should be praised, got looked down on when you should be raised up, got ridiculed when you should be encouraged. If you’ve ever experienced the opposite of the true nature of a situation you found yourself then you’re welcome to get on the line with King David, the young sheep keeper in 1 Samuel 16:11 And Samuel said unto Jesse, Are here all thy children? And he said,
There remaineth yet the youngest, and, behold, he keepeth the sheep. And Samuel said unto Jesse, Send and fetch him: for we will not sit down till he come hither, relegated to the wilderness who later became a wealthy King because of an act of bravery in trusting in the Lord God almighty and Killing a giant in 1 Samuel 17.
Until after
the death of Goliath, his ability was trash to his brothers (family). 1 Samuel
17: 28 And Eliab his eldest brother heard
when he spake unto the men; and Eliab's anger was kindled against David, and he
said, Why camest thou down hither? and with whom hast thou left those few sheep
in the wilderness? I know thy pride, and the naughtiness of thine heart; for
thou art come down that thou mightest see the battle. But he didn’t let the ridicule he was
subjected to become the determinant of his outcome in life. Because being in
such a situation and paying yield to it will only relegate one to the
background or bring one completely to the ground.
Besides, we’ve
been rightly informed that nothing is a waste. Waste when recycled could be
used for other purposes. Even the excreta are not waste. If you doubt me ask
the agriculturalist or the plants that needs nutrients to grow. A better option
should be mockers of Noah when building the ark that saved him, his family
during the flood Genesis 7 *smiles*.
In the words of Lucy Ranson "Work
hard for what you want because it won't come to you without a fight. You have
to be strong and courageous and know that you can do anything you put your mind
to. If somebody puts you down or criticizes you, just keep on believing in
yourself and turn it into something positive".
So, for
every thrash thrown at you in words of mockery or in other ways get the cash
out of it as did King David, Daniel etc. And you’ll realise life isn’t for exhibition of weaknesses but
strength in knowing God Daniel 11:32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by
flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.
Have the
most fruits bearing week. Cheers!
