When Habits are Offbeat.

That awkward moment when you’re expected to laugh but burst into a crying fit; when you get angry over little things but laugh over hurtful incidents. You seem odd and out of place in the midst of others. People are technically afraid to joke with you because of your off beat habit that’s completely out of tune.

They say time waits for no one. Each moment should count. A step taken is to bring one close to his or her goals. But how close is close enough is the actualisation of one’s mission on earth. Too many are the desires of man that bring to each one door steps insatiable hunger. This usually leaves a sour taste as one trail along searching for neutralisers.

The Cognition Recognition of Reality in Unreality State of Mind.

There is a sense in which all cognition can be said to be motivated. One is motivated to understand the world, to be in touch with reality, to remove doubt, etc.

Brokenness - 4

It is human to fear the process of brokenness  (reformation) because of the pain, imagine humans are like tearing a piece of clothe into more pieces in order to fix them into something suitable and fit for God’s use might be unbearable but the sweet gain thereafter is a greater reward than the pain. God won't break you if He can’t fix you. If you need to be broken it implies the shape you are in right now isn’t useful to Him.

Each day, I get to realise one can't completely boast of knowing his or her capabilities until truly faced with situations. Life experiences can either bring out the best or worse in us depending on how we chose to react or respond. I will like to share the four series on 'Brokenness' written by Bob Gass some years ago on  the devotional 'The Word for Today'. I pray each post reforms you as it did me when I was going through it after so many years.

Life is full of strains that can easily thwart one's efforts and ruin future plans but in fuller measure are the restrains in your possession depending on how they are voiced. And how one tend to those strains. Haven't you heard or read that the words you speak will either make or mar you?

The story I was told about this couple is completely different from what I am sharing today. And was I surprised, actually yes because both stories are completely worlds apart. Before now, I was told Pastor Paul Adefarasin was like the prodigal son in the bible. Who squandered his parent's wealth and repented. Until now, that was the faulty K-legged story I believed.
