Remember a book should not be judged by its cover. So are many people who have been considered by others too weak (maybe handicapped, retarded or any life issues..) to succeed but time after time we have seen those same people living an impactful life in the midst of the difficulties. Google 'life without limb', it will give you a great insight.
What’s your excuse for being on a spot for so long? Do you
think you’re not capable or you feel you do not have the ability? The thing is;
everyone is capable of doing something. You just need to be smart enough to know what
that is. So if you’re weak and need to get to the top, let me remind you of some of
the points to take you there.
Make attempts: I believe there’s hardly anyone who do not
have a dream of who and what they want
to become. However, until you make an attempt, there will be no actualisation. You
need someone to believe in you then, believe in yourself by venturing out to
pursue your dreams. Start by; setting goals to guide your move and every step. When
you succeed at one, set higher ones and keep moving. Yeah! You might fail but learn
to let your failures lure you into success by learning not to make the same
mistake twice. A fresh failure should bring along with it refreshed knowledge
depending on how much you’re willing to stand. That brings us to our next
point...
Willingness: Your success in life is based on your
willingness to learn and be better. Your will is your drive and will continue
to make a new turn at every road block. Remember the bus driver is in charge driving the bus and the conductor help with collection of fees. That is the situation,
no one will drive the vehicle meant for you. They can only assist you in making
the journey easier.
Self evaluation: What you think of yourself is what will
reflect for others to see. Do you think you look different or life hasn’t
been fair to you, too many challenges? I will tell you that; you’ll be great in
life. Hey! Only if you let the world feel the positive effect of how different
you are. I once saw on ‘moment with MO’ some years ago of a lady who's retarded but a successful lawyer. She was laughed and scorned but what that did to her was that she always gets to be noticed and
singled out. The rest is her appearance on such a prestigious show. I wonder
what her mockers will be thinking at that point if they’d saw her.
The others you should be very familiar with such as determination,
courage, hope and faith and the need to work smart and hard.
Above all, let the Lord come first, for the
race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to
the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of
skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all, Ecclesiastes 9:11.
Have the most fruits bearing week ever! Cheers!!.
