Revealing! Delta Central Senatorial Election; How Amori Bought the Minds of the People

 Ighoyota Amori  was declared  the winner  of the Delta Central Senatorial  bye election winner 26 day of April 2015. He was a commissioner under James Ibori Government.  Then and now; he is referred to as the former Governor right hand man.

  All attempt to speak with the senator elect who is presently in Abuja basking in the joy of winning the election despite all odds was to no avail. But we will keep trying to hear from him in  person to express how it feels to finally win an election.

I was however fortunate enough to have a chat with one of his allia,  Chief Bernarnd Abinoko, who was a   former Councillor in Ethiope west Local Government Area. When asked about Amori victory and why the people preferred to vote for him instead of his contenders, he gladly narrated the countless contributions he has made in his community and entire Urhobo kingdom.

In his days as a commissioner;

-He ensured all the roads were tarred and maintained within his region

-He empowered the rural areas with electricity and established schools in the primary, secondary and tertiary levels

-He ensured that Urhobo people were gainfully employedwithin the nation.

This but to mention a few. And he has promised to continue from where he did stopped  if voted for.

With this victory, Delta Central can gladly look forward to a fruit bearing tenure with Chief Ighoyota Amori.
