The dream of George Washington was to join the Navy, but his mother, who was a widow raising her children alone, didn't like the idea. And trying to be brave, she agreed to let him follow his dream. The day he was to sail, she hugged him and said goodbye. And just before his departure, her emotion got hold of her and she started weeping uncontrollably. She has been through so much pain, raising her children all alone, she just couldn't endure letting go her son. George must not get on the ship. She needs him to stay back, be strong in helping the rest of them. As much as the young boy smartly dressed up to embark on such great journey, desperately wanted to go after his dreams, he chosed to stay back. Especially if it means adding to his mother's grief. Reluctantly, he returned his uniform and ordered his belongings to be ashore.
