1 Police Officer and a Pastor Shot Dead in Sapele.

Two people were shot dead yesterday in Sapele by unknown gunmen. One of the men killed was identified as Pastor Great Oduduru (Picture above), who was a man of great character with uncommon love, according to some neighbours. He was shot dead last night during an arm robbery attack along Oleh Roa, Sapele, Delta State.


The Mobile Policeman that was killed is yet to be identified. However, there are reports that he served as an escort to a man who is most wanted in his and other communities.  He was followed to his cousine marriage at Peemos Hotel by SARs.

The man had with him two mobile police men (Mopol), who started shooting up ward to scare off the SARs men that have been lying in wait foir his arrival. In the process the mobile police was killed and the man's two legs shot.

The case has been taken to the capital city police station, Asaba and the government has denied the mobile police man for being a body guard to a wanted thief.

In order for the case not to escalate and cause harm to the innocent, the Sapele security officials in the various forces quickly responded  to take control of the situation.
