When Crazy Gets Racy.

In the world today, I believe some people are in wonder land with me on where crazy ends and sanity begins. It is difficult to depict between right and wrong. The race to outwit each other and be on top accelerates in speed daily. The competition is high in all sectors. Everybody wants to be somebody and somebody wants to get everybody hooked up on them. It is a mad rush. Thrive or strive or get crushed by the rush.

Every day, people are shifting base. They’re ready to do anything, everything so long it brings success. It doesn’t matter if the outcome of such success lacks satisfaction and joy. They just want to be on top and the talk of the town. No one wants to wait in line, thereby creating chaos, stumbling and tampering on whoever and whatsoever to lead. Why blame them when creativity is seen even in the oddest of ways?

What then can you do when crazy gets racy

Be you: Uniqueness is what sets an individual apart. It can never be hidden if one consistently let who they are reflects at every given opportunity. Who you are is a combination of who and what you believe in. I recently read the testimony of Frank Edwards when he was asked by some big prompters to reduce the mention of the name Jesus in his songs. He was asked to replace the name of Jesus with God before they can do business with him. Well, he turned them and it is obvious today, he didn’t need them to succeed because the Lord Jesus sets him apart and gave him what he needed to be and remain Frank Edwards. Of course He says; Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; and before you came forth out of the womb I sanctified (set you apart) you, and I ordained you a prophet unto the nations Jeremiah 1:5.

Be Quiet: Quietness breeds reasonability. It enables one to think through a matter before responding to it. You don’t get to do wrong because it is what is expected in the world today. But, get to do right because it is what the word of the Lord says. My son, attend to my words; incline your ear unto my sayings Proverbs 4:20. When you chose to walk right remember these words of prophetess Tera Carissa Hodge: Be quiet! people attack you with lies in hopes you'll respond with the truth. It's their way of getting information they did not have. RARELY do you have to defend yourself...your LIFE will! Let your LIFE testify you're ‪ still blessed, still ahead in life’s race and moving faster. Even if you’re not running in the same direction with others. Never forget, “I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill; but time and chance happens to them all” Ecclesiastes 9:11.

‪Be Conservative and humble: A conservative person is the Lord’s reserviour for conserving valuable information. Why do you think my understanding of a particular portion of the bible might differ from that of another person reading the same portion or a narrative essay on the same topic will come out in different views? It all depends on how individuals level of understanding. And humility will be what will keep one on the success lane because the God resisteth the proud, James 4:6. It is very important not to act like the proverbial lizard and ride on pride rather be humble and kind to all men.

Choose your ride: There are different means to run a race depending on the basis. Could be the use of legs, cars, motor bike, bicycles, skates....etc. One has to be careful to know which to embark on the race with at a particular time or else the end result will be a crash. Let’s make that of life race simpler by basing it on right or wrong. Whatever the case might be get on the right ride, it can only lead to light that will brightened your path even in the darkest of tunnels. Cheers!
